1969 Cass Avenue Photo T-Shirt

For better or worse, Cass Ave is the birthplace of CREEM and rock journalism as we know it. A rejection of the coastal monopoly on cultural critique and everything it represented. While Cass Ave’s sordid history has come a long way (fewer drug deals, more microbreweries), we pay homage to our iconic original location with these tees featuring photography by Charlie Auringer, CREEM’s first art director.

The CREEM Archive collection features limited edition runs of classic rock ‘n’ roll designs pulled straight from the archive. We love a stiff, scratchy concert tee as much as the next guy, but these aren’t it. Printed on soft, silk-washed cotton, so it looks new, but feels like it’s already been washed a hundred times.
